Voted “Best Local Band” by Little Village Magazine in 2022, Iowa’s Dandelion Stompers bring vintage jazz to life with infectious energy and the spirit of a street band busking on a sunny afternoon. Blending hot swing, joyful rhythms, and soulful horns, they keep the dance floor hopping while transporting audiences to a bygone era where the music fills the air and everyone’s invited to join the fun.

The band’s signature blend of good-time jazz for one and all is on full display in their debut double album, Whirlwind Sessions: Vol I and Vol II. Showcasing the group’s rich musicality and high-spirited sound, Vol I was released in fall 2023, followed by Vol II in 2025.
