We accidentally recorded a double album over April Fool’s Day weekend in 2023 at Flat Black Studios near Iowa City, IA. On March 31st, with a tornado heading toward us we put down ten tracks, and then scurried home to take cover. On April 1st we returned to a studio that had lost power and recorded nine more songs. Whirlwind Sessions Vol. I was released on October 26, 2023 to a sold out crowd and full dance floor at The James Theater in Iowa City, IA. Whirlwind Sessions Vol. 2 released at a another sold-out show, this time at Wildwood Saloon in Iowa City, IA on Valentines dance 2025.
